Dr Emily Ware, GP specialist in Women's Health, and Colette McKiernan Co Founder of Vagenius Training, travelled to Meanjin Brisbane, to run a whole day's workshop for Indigenous GP trainees. "It is so exciting to be invited to do this workshop," said Colette. IGPTN participants wanted to learn more about Women's Pelvic Health. The topics for the day were; Persistent Pelvic Pain, Perimenopause and Vulvovaginal Conditions. Chair of IGPTN, Dr Josie Guyer said, "I know our trainees were impressed with the level of education provided by Dr Ware from Vagenius Training. I picked up some clinical pearls myself to take back to my community."

This, Vagenius's first workshop in partnership with the Indigenous General Practice Trainee Network, was buzzing with questions, curiosity and opportunities to pick up some gems from each others' experiences. "This was a great experience for us to work with the IGPTN said Colette, "who do amazing work with their members". The GPs had a chance to explore some complex cases, to develop a Whole Self Care plan for patients, and to ask questions, alongside the amazing clinical education presented by Dr Ware.
