GP sign-ups started as soon as the Adelaide PHN announced it has funded 65 free places for its GPs to do the Vagenius Training course on Persistent Pelvic Pain.

Rachel Andrew, co-lead of the course and co-founder of Vagenius Training said: "Adelaide PHN joins Primary Health Tasmania in using federal funding to purchase licenses to give GPs access to our one-of-a-kind, clinician-led online course."

"Adelaide GPs are already logging in and learning with this CPD training. The best thing about the Vagenius Training course is it gives GPs the knowledge to apply what they learn immediately."

We know that 1 in 4 women and people assigned female at birth are affected by persistent pelvic pain. These people will have significantly improved quality of life, with far fewer visits to doctors and specialists, when their GPs have the knowledge and tools to confidently diagnose and help them manage their symptoms and conditions.

GPs in Adelaide can get more info and free access to the training through the Adelaide PHN site, while places are available.
