Dr Emily Isham, a passionate advocate for women’s pelvic health and a graduate of our Persistent Pelvic Pain – Leadership in Care course, was featured on 7 Tasmania News.
She shed light on the ongoing struggle many women face in getting answers for their pain—and welcomed the news that Tasmanian women with chronic conditions like endometriosis will now have access to longer Medicare-funded appointments and increased rebates for gynaecological care.
With 1 in 9 Australian women affected by endometriosis, this is a much-needed step forward. 👏
